With heavy hearts, we announce the passing of Robin Lyn Cohen on February 6, 2025, at the age of 66. Robin was a beloved wife, mother, grandmother, daughter, sister, and friend whose warmth and kindness touched the lives of so many.

Robin shared a beautiful life with her husband, Steven Cohen, who has been the most steadfast and devoted partner through the heights of their earlier years and even more so through the past 5 years of her battle with Lewy Body Dementia. Robin is also survived by her loving mother, Arlene Colbert, her devoted brother, Edward Colbert, and his wife, Judy.

She was a cherished mother to her daughters, Stephanie Bender (Jon Carpenter) and Marissa Kilberg (Brandon Kilberg), who will forever carry her love and wisdom in their hearts. Her greatest joy was her grandchildren, Eric James Salcedo, Jack Kilberg, and Bryce Kilberg, who truly brought her endless pride and happiness.

Robin also embraced her extended family with open arms, including her stepchildren, Aimee Salzlein (John Salzlein) and Robert Cohen (Joanna Cohen), along with her adored step-grandchildren, Travis, Tyler, Riley, Liliana, and Hunter.

She will be remembered for her energetic and fun-loving spirit, her unwavering love for her family and friends who were family, and the joy she found in life’s simple moments. Robin’s love, kindness, and strength legacy will continue to live on through those who knew and loved her.

In lieu of flowers, the family asks that donations be made to the Lewy Body Dementia Association to fund research into this devastating disease that took Robin and a very close friend from us far too soon.
