Stephen passed away peacefully at his home in Boca Raton, FL surrounded by his family on September 30, 2024. Loving husband of Carol to whom he has been married for over 30 years.

Beloved father of Linda (Richard) Kessler, Alan (Tracy) Winig, and Richard (Lisa) Winig. Cherished father of his late son Gary. Adored stepchildren Tony (Jody) Berger and Todd Berger. Adored grandfather of nine. Brother of Susan Lewin.

Stephen was an amazing friend and a successful, businessperson. A real estate investor and manufacturer. Formerly of Philadelphia Stephen’s passions were his commitment to Jewish Philanthropy and the communities he lived. They include past President of the Philadelphia Israel Chamber of Commerce, past President of Meadowlands CC, Past Chair of the Mid-Atlantic Ben Gurion University, Past Treasurer of the South County Federation, Past Trustee of Ruth Rales Jewish Family Services, and Past Trustee of the Boca Raton Regional Hospital. He touched the lives of many.

Stephen’s warmth, wisdom, and humor will be dearly missed by all who knew him.

Services were held at Temple Beth El, Boca Raton on Sunday, October 6, 2024.
