Linda Jane Zimmerman-Rose lived a full and beautiful life. She was born on April 30, 1945, in New York City to the late Bernard and Adele Zimmerman.

Linda Jane Zimmerman-Rose spent her childhood in Woodmere, New York. Although she was an only child, she grew up with her first cousins as siblings; Alice Berglas Katz, Bob Katz, Lenore & Amy Katz, Charles Roden, Bob Zimmerman, Ann Gallant Zimmerman, Steven Zimmerman, and the late David Zimmerman.

Growing up as an only child, her deepest wish was to build a big and adoring family to share her life with, and in that she succeeded. She is survived by her 3 children & 7 grandchildren; Randi & Brian Schwartz (Olivia, Abi & Sarah), Matthew and Debbie Zimmerman (Hannah & Jack), and Julie & Lon Sadowsky (Emily & Amy).

In the early 70’s, Linda moved to Miami Beach where she raised her three children. LaGorce Drive was the place she considered her true home, a place where she built many warm memories and friends became family.

She was a force, not only as a single mother but also as a businesswoman carving her way in the world of advertising and later in the Senior Living industry developing ALFs and launching one of the first Geriatric Care Management Companies, Parent Care followed by Parent Services.

She loved the expressive arts and was a frequenter of the theater and jazz venues. She also enjoyed a good book and was happy to share her recommendations and her opinion on almost anything for that matter. She was known for her candor and wit, which was mostly, but not always appreciated.

She loved her family fiercely, with her grandchildren being her greatest joy. Surrounded by all her children, grandchildren, and two dogs in a house filled with love and laughter, she passed peacefully on Saturday, September 28th, at 12:35 a.m., realizing the life she set out to live and live fully.
