“You Shall Love Your Neighbor As Yourself” (Leviticus 19:18)

Judith Ableman Obituary

Judith was born in Chicago on Sept. 27, 1937.

From the beginning of her life, Judith was a social butterfly and always had a ton of friends. She loved singing and sang in a group through high school and college.

Judith was the life of the party and was always dressed to the hilt- perfect makeup, clothes, and jewelry (which she loved).

She was an incredibly loving and supportive mother to her three children, Nancy, Jim, and John. Judith moved to Florida when her grandkids, Carly, and Andrew, were young so she could be closer to them. She was very involved in their lives when they were growing up and up until her death.

Judith was thrilled when her son Jim and daughter-in-law Jackie (of Blessed Memory) welcomed twins, Jack, and Maecy. They brought her a lot of joy. She was an avid traveler and loved exploring exotic places.

Later in her life, Judith loved playing canasta and bridge with her group of girlfriends. Until the very end of her life, she was a smart, spunky, and beautiful woman who will be greatly missed.
