William “Billy” Stone, aged 80, of Boca Raton, Florida, passed away on July 11, 2026.

Born in the USSR on November 2, 1945, immigrating to Canada at the age of 3, escaping the war. Billy pursued his higher education in Canada, earning an undergraduate degree from the University of Toronto and a Bachelor of Laws from Queen’s University.

He practiced law in Toronto for several years before transitioning into the corporate sector. His entrepreneurial drive eventually led him to settle in Boca Raton, where he successfully established a business that remains a source of immense pride for his family.

Billy was an exceptionally generous and funny individual who brought light and laughter to everyone who knew him. He was deeply devoted to his family and leaves behind a legacy of profound affection.

He was the loving husband of Sandy Stone, with whom he shared 57 years of marriage. He was the father of his adored children, Aaron Stone, Jennifer Stone, and his wife, Corina. He was also the grandfather to his cherished grandchildren, Olivia Morris, Ryan Morris, and Lulu Bregman.

In addition to his immediate family, Billy is survived by his beloved siblings, Martin & his wife Lucy Grinstein. He was preceded in death by his parents, Regina and Chaim Grinstein.
