Obituary

Judith Silberman Siskind (Judy), 97, of Wellington, Florida, passed away peacefully on June 2, 2025, just one week shy of her 98th birthday.

Judy was born on June 9, 1927, in Baltimore, Maryland to Dave and Ruth Silberman. She attended Western High School and graduated with a bachelor’s degree from Goucher College in Towson, Maryland.

Judy and her husband, William, spent a great deal of time wintering in Palm Beach, Florida, before finally making it their full-time home.

Judy was preceded in death by her husband, William Leigh Siskind, and her sister Sonia (Tony) Cooper, nee Silberman. She is survived by her son, Jeffrey Marc Siskind (Tanya) of Wellington, FL; Wendy Siskind Buckingham of West Palm Beach, Florida; her grandchildren, Jordan Brooke Biton nee Buckingham; Lucas Ryan Buckingham; Samantha Leigh Siskind; Jack Thomas-Edward Siskind; Scarlett Leigh Siskind; her great-grandson Aiden Mardos Biton; her niece, Joan Cooper; her nephews Roger Cooper (Kelly); John Cooper; James Fensterwald; John Fensterwald (Beth); 2 great nieces and 2 great-nephews.

Judy lived a long and full life making lifelong friendships in Baltimore and Palm Beach. She was an amazing athlete who in her younger years excelled in swimming, diving, field hockey, and table tennis, and in later years she played tennis and golf and won many championships.

She loved games and crossword puzzles and remained sharp and active her entire life, even driving a car at 97 years old!

She will always be remembered for her fabulous fashion sense, her wonderful sense of humor, and her love of animals, especially her dogs.

Above all, Judy loved her family and took great pride in all of their accomplishments.

Burial services were held on June 10^th, 2025, at South Florida Veterans Cemetery.
