Obituary

Phil Krumholtz was born in Queens, NY on October 19, 1948. He lived in Bayside with his parents, Morris and Ethel, and his older brother, Barry. After graduating from Francis Lewis High School, he went to Indiana State University before transferring and graduating from CW Post. Shortly thereafter, he joined his dad and brother in the family business, Morris Bros, a retail clothing store located on the Upper West Side. He was a natural in the business, an innovator, and a well-respected operator who grew the business and expanded it into camp outfitting.

Phil and Gail were married for 43 years and have two children (Jessica and Jake) and three grandchildren (Maya, Harry, and Telina). They raised their family in White Plains before moving to Florida 10 years ago. Nothing was more important to Phil than family and friends, and despite having a small family, he had no shortage of friends, many of whom he had been close to since their days at Mamaroneck Beach & Yacht Club and Ridgeway Country Club. Phil enjoyed playing golf, tennis, and pickleball and was an avid New York Giants, Rangers, and Yankees fan.
