“You Shall Love Your Neighbor As Yourself” (Leviticus 19:18)
Pearl Rosenfeld
Obituary
Pearl Rosenfeld passed peacefully from this world on March 6, 2023, in contrast to how she lived her life with zeal and passion in every aspect.
She was born and raised in Brooklyn, married Frederick Rosenfeld, the love of her life, and raised her family of five active children on Long Island.
Pearl was truly the Eveready Bunny who never ran out of energy. She ran her household, tended to five children, hosted all family functions for our extended family, and managed to be involved in civic and charitable endeavors in an effortless fashion, without ever showing any stress or strain. When Pearl entered a room, her presence was felt, and she managed to engage everyone and befriend them by the end of the event.
She was most proud of the family that she and Fred created, and the reputation of the Rosenfeld kids in East Rockaway, and beyond, as they went off to college and professional careers. Moving to Boca Lago when Fred retired gave them a second lease and life and the chance to meet a whole new circle of friends and cultivate their golf games. Pearl was never content to stay at home, rather she preferred to be out seven nights a week, much to Fred’s chagrin.
Pearl spent her life doing good deeds and sacrificing for others and trying to make the world a better place.
She will be sorely missed but she will remain an inspirational role model for everyone who was privileged to know her.
