Obituary

Harvey Fern, 79, son of David and Dorothy Fern, died on Monday, January 16, 2023.

Born in Newark, NJ, Harvey spent most of his career working at Archie Schwartz Company in East Orange, NJ, which was the largest industrial real estate company in NJ from 1970-1990. He started as a Sales Rep and worked his way up to Executive Vice President and had 25 sales reps reporting to him, before retiring to Florida five years ago.

Harvey is survived by his wife, Karen, son Charles and daughter-in-law Jackie Fern, daughter and son-in-law, Lisa and Richard Billig, sister and brother-in-law, Lynda and Aaron Sacharov along with seven grandchildren, Taylor, Chad (deceased) Callie, Zachary, Matthew, Rachel, Gabriel, Mason and great-granddaughter, Isabel.  He is also survived by his step-daughter, Lori, and John Karmazin, and their son Wesley along with step-son, Louis Schuckman, and his children Ayden and Morgan.  

There will be a private memorial service at the family’s residence in Florida.
