Dorothy Uskisin

Obituary

Dorothy was born in Chicago and grew up in Highland Park, Illinois.

Upon graduating from the University of Michigan, she taught elementary school.  

She married Jim Mills in 1960 (div. 1972). With Jim, she had three children.

Dorothy began a successful career in real estate sales for Kahn Realty, working until 1994. She was married to Chuck Usiskin from 1983 until he passed in 1996.

She was married to the love of her life, Seymour Ginsburg from 1998 until his death in 2019.  

Dorothy loved the ballet, symphony, books, painting, water aerobics, golf, and most of all her children and grandchildren.

She is survived by her children Charlie, Donnie, and Peggy (John); grandchildren Adam, Julia, Tessa, Blair, Hayden, and Wilson; step-children, Tami (Rich), Jimmy (Linda), and Karyn (Ken) and their families had a special place in her heart.
