He grew up in Long Island, NY. Graduated from the University of Buffalo in 1964 and received his MBA from Adelphi in 1967.
A Yankees fan and a history buff his entire life. He dreamed of becoming a writer and was an avid reader. Richard read every newspaper and book he could get his hands on. He knew the score and stats of every player and team in sports.
Richard never missed his grandchildren’s activities, from cheer competitions to baseball and lacrosse games, he became a permanent fixture on the Saint Andrew’s bleachers. His favorite pastime was posting on FACEBOOK and was constantly trying to take the best picture. He worked as a real estate agent in commercial real estate and was literally working and trying to close a deal until his last breath. He was extremely proud of being selected RCA 2017 REALTOR OF THE YEAR.
A master networker who never missed a breakfast, lunch, or dinner whether it was work related or meant meeting up with his friends. He was a constant source of information and would send clippings, emails, texts with anything and everything to anyone.
He loved being with his family and was very proud of his children and grandchildren.
