“You Shall Love Your Neighbor As Yourself” (Leviticus 19:18)
I know I am going to really miss going to holiday parties and seeing friends at restaurants. One of the things I love most about the holiday season is experimenting with the many whiskey drinks that almost every decent bartender seems to know and specialize in mixing. So, I know I am going to have to adapt and adopt new traditions this year. One of the new traditions is going to be the opening of the Sunshine Family Bar and Restaurant where we will make our own food, drinks, and fun. But, before I can become a mixmaster, I need recipes for the drinks that I love. And, that’s where this email comes into play. If you click this link you will be redirected to 53 whiskey cocktail recipes that should help you get through the long winter (and yes, the winter is even long in Florida – just not cold). These recipes are provided to us care of Epicurious which is a great website that provides amazing cooking advice and recommendations. Below are pictures of some of the more “yummy” drinks that you can make with scotch, Irish whiskey, bourbon, and rye. Each of the 53 drinks looks great in the pictures!!! As always, if you decide to try one of these recipes, please do not drink and drive and remember to drink responsibly. Happy Holidays!
