“You Shall Love Your Neighbor As Yourself” (Leviticus 19:18)
I miss traveling by air.
Since COVID-19 started I have been afraid to fly and instead drove from Florida to Colorado and then a few weeks later drove from Florida to Cleveland.
I feel like I have been living in a car for the last 4 months.
But, are my fears of air travel rational?
Well, it turns out that preliminary data shows that air travel during the age of COVID-19 is pretty safe.
According to an MIT statistics professor, the odds of catching COVID-19 on a full flight is just 1 in 4,300.
And, the researcher says that the odds plummet to 1 in 7,700 if the middle seat is vacant.
CNN published a report on the odds of contracting COVID-19 during air travel. If you would like to read this report click here.
