COVID-19 related heart and lung damage may be reversible according to a study presented earlier today at the European Respiratory Society International Congress.

However, enrollment in cardiopulmonary rehabilitation is very important.  And the earlier the better. 

The author of the study stated:

The findings from this study show the importance of implementing structured follow-up care for patients with severe COVID-19 infection.
