Obituary

Shirlee F. Laakso, of Boca Raton, FL, formerly of Randolph MA, and Salem, MA died on Tuesday, August 28, 2018, due to complications of Primary Progressive Aphasia, with her family by her side.

Loving daughter of the late Morris and Alice (Pelchat) Gibeley of Salem, MA, where she enjoyed a wonderful childhood with her brother, Robert Gibeley, of Naples, FL, and Ogunquit, ME.

She was married to the love of her life, the late Norman T. Laakso, of Peabody, MA. Together they chose Randolph, MA to raise their three children, Thomas Laakso, Allison Laakso of Boca Raton, and Marissa Laakso Delinks of Falmouth, MA. Shirlee retired to Boca Raton in 1995.

Cherished grandmother of Tracey and Dannielle Vizzini of Coconut Creek, Amanda Laakso of Boca Raton, and Caroline Delinks and Eben Delinks of Falmouth. Adored great-grandmother to Emily and William Laakso of Boca Raton.

Funeral Service

Funeral services were held at Temple Beth El in Boca Raton on August 30, 2018.
